Through 20th Television's (formally ABC Signature) inaugural Emerging Playwrights Initiative, I've received a two-year commission to adapt the stage play into a young adult, dark comedy television Series. This opportunity includes the invaluable mentorship from screenwriter Raamla Mohamed (Creator/Showrunner Reasonable Doubt, Writer/Executive Producer Little Fires Everywhere) in preparation to pitch the pilot for series development.
